1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

To provide tailored mental training blueprints and calculate cognitive metrics, we collect two core categories of information:

  • Account Identity Information: Your full name, secure email address, created password, primary sport, player position/role, and competitive tier bracket.

  • Performance Diagnostics: Stated mental improvement priorities (e.g., focus, pressure, visualization), answers to the 15-question mindset appraisal, calculated category averages, visual block graph metrics, and custom-generated Athlete ID serial numbers.

2. HOW WE COLLECT DATA

Our platform utilizes a self-contained, user-driven collection model:

  • Direct Input: Information you enter manually into our Onboarding registration forms and assessment click matrices.

  • Client-Side Caching (LocalStorage): To maximize app speed and allow instant profile loading without rigid back-end processing delay loops, your profile parameters and score maps are cached securely within your device's browser memory canvas via localStorage.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Sportschology utilizes collected data exclusively to deliver and improve cognitive athletic training:

  • To generate your Athlete Performance Profile Card and index your activation timestamps.

  • To mathematically calculate metric ratios across your 6 Mindset Vectors (Focus, Confidence, Resilience, Pressure, Visualization, and Mental Toughness).

  • To isolate your lowest-scoring category and provide automated, targeted recommendations for your training sequences.

  • To establish secure credentials allowing you to access and sync with the cognitive training hub.

4. DATA SECURITY & PASSWORDS

We treat your account security with elite priority:

  • Account passwords are required to meet minimum safety lengths to safeguard your metric tracking against unauthorized access.

  • Our interactive interface features data-masking visibility links ("Show/Hide") so you maintain total control over credential exposure during public log-ins.

  • We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal profiling metrics or account credentials to third-party marketing brokers.

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY & AGE COMPLIANCE (COPPA)

Sportschology actively supports youth sports development while maintaining strict legal data protection compliance:

  • Our onboarding platform features a mandatory Age Verification Gate.

  • In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), athletes under the age of 13 are prohibited from initializing individual accounts without explicit parental or guardian review and consent. If we detect an registration attempt violating this age bracket gate, data processing parameters block progression immediately.

6. YOUR CONTROLS, RIGHTS, & EDITING

You retain complete sovereignty over your cognitive data map:

  • Modification: You can modify your onboarding metrics, competitive brackets, and credential files at any time using the "Modify Onboarding Credentials" router built into your results console.

  • Erasure: Because data caches natively within your web browser, you can permanently wipe your performance database from your current machine at any time by clearing your browser's site cookies and local storage cache files.

7. UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may optimize this Privacy Policy periodically to align with evolving web privacy regulations or platform training features. When modifications occur, we will update the "Effective Date" posted at the absolute top of this policy frame.
